Lockers at Schlossplatz

Who hasn't been there? You come straight from work or a little shopping trip to the jazzopen and don't know where to put your bags. Generally speaking, it's better to leave large bags at home, but for all those who have no other option, we will be offering lockers at the Schlossplatz for the first time during the festival to store bags and rucksacks. There will be two different locker sizes on site: a small locker (9.5 cm x 19 cm x 32.5 cm) and a large locker (24 cm x 20 cm x 32 cm). But the range is limited. So if you want to be on the safe side, you can reserve a locker now. How does the reservation work? Simply click on the following link, enter the desired day and size and relax and enjoy the jazzopen.
Lettuce concert cancelled

Unfortunately Lettuce had to cancel their performance at jazzopen 2024 - Lawrence's concert is not affected by this and will take place as planned. In addition, we are pleased to welcome Diana Ezerex as a new opener in the programme!

Donny McCaslin concert rescheduled

Unfortunately, there are always unforeseen circumstances when planning a festival. So we have to inform you that Kyle Eastwood's concert on 18 July has had to be cancelled.
This has resulted in another change to our programme: Donny McCaslin, who was originally scheduled to perform at the SpardaWelt Eventcenter on 25 July, will now be gracing us a week earlier on Thursday, 18 July at the BIX Jazzclub.

30 years jazzopen

The jazzopen will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2024. There will be music of the finest quality on 4 main stages and additional admission-free JAZZ OPEN STAGES.
