JAZZOPEN

Music and more

If you are at the jazzopen for several days, it is worth exploring the city and its surroundings in more detail before visiting the festival in the evening. And since a great experience also includes attractive accommodation, here are a few tips to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Lockers at Schlossplatz

Who hasn't been there? You come straight from work or a little shopping trip to the jazzopen and don't know where to put your bags. Generally speaking, it's better to leave large bags at home, but for all those who have no other option, we will be offering lockers at the Schlossplatz for the first time during the festival to store bags and rucksacks. There will be two different locker sizes on site: a small locker (9.5 cm x 19 cm x 32.5 cm) and a large locker (24 cm x 20 cm x 32 cm). But the range is limited. So if you want to be on the safe side, you can reserve a locker now. How does the reservation work? Simply click on the following link, enter the desired day and size and relax and enjoy the jazzopen.

Sparkling wine cellar at Kessler

The sparkling wine cellar was founded in 1826 by Georg Christian von Kessler at the traditional location in downtown Esslingen. For 190 years now, everything here has revolved around the sparkling grape juice. Thousands of bottles mature in the almost 2,000 m² vaulted cellar, some for up to 60 months, to ultimately produce the unique KESSLER taste. Those interested can visit the mysterious underworld of the sparkling wine cellar. You will learn everything about the founder, the historic building and how sparkling wine is made. The crowning conclusion is the tasting of different KESSLER sparkling wines.
The KESSLER Karree 18 - the store with an integrated bar - forms the bridge between the historic house and the modern brand. The Hofbar as well as the Karree itself are a popular meeting place to start the weekend with a glass of KESSLER sparkling wine or to end a working day with friends.
