Stepping Out Of Reality is the latest project by Spanish saxophonist and composer Daniel Torres. It represents one of his most personal and intimate endeavors, designed to take the listener on a journey through various sounds and emotions. The repertoire consists entirely of Daniel's own compositions, showcasing a wide musical variety that includes elements of bolero, straight-ahead jazz, modal music, free jazz, and bossa. The addition of various percussion instruments, such as castanets, batá drums, congas, and Udu, infuses the music with diverse and exotic flavors. Despite this eclecticism, the compositions come together to form a cohesive, unique, and engaging musical narrative.

This sextet features highly acclaimed international jazz musicians from the Netherlands, the United States, and Spain. These artists have shared the stage with jazz legends like Benny Golson, Steve Grossman, Rashied Ali, and many others.
