Accessibility Statement

We place great importance on making our website accessible to everyone – regardless of physical or technical limitations. Our commitment is based on the requirements of the German Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0) as well as the international guidelines of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1), conformance level AA.

A large part of the content is already designed to be accessible. The layout, navigation, and structure of the website are designed to enable as many users as possible to navigate intuitively and access information without restrictions – on all common devices.

We are aware that accessibility is an ongoing process. We therefore continuously work to identify and remove existing barriers in order to further improve usability and ensure equal access to our online offerings for all people.

Colour Contrast

Some elements of our website currently have lower colour contrast than required by WCAG 2.1 conformance level AA. This design choice follows the binding specifications of our corporate design, which defines certain colour and design elements.

For this reason, adjustments to improve contrast are currently not possible without violating our brand-specific design guidelines. However, we continuously review how future design decisions can be better aligned with accessibility requirements.
