FRESH AND THRILLING
Immortal Onion has already established itself as one of the most interesting new jazz projects from Poland. After the well-received albums "Ocelot of Salvation" in 2017 and "XD [Experience Design]" in 2020 (U Know Me Records), they now present the new album "Screens," initiated by saxophonist Michał Jan Ciesielski. Michał's compositions affirm that the fusion of jazz and electronic elements can still be fresh and thrilling. In addition to the core members Michał, Tomir, Wojtek, and Ziemowit, the album features numerous guest instrumentalists, including strings, brass, and a distinctive guitar soundscape. The entire album was recorded and mixed by Michał Jan Ciesielski, with mastering by Michał "Eprom" Baj. Graphic design was created by Marta "Martiszu" Ludwiszewska, who captures the unique spirit of Immortal Onion.
BIX Jazzclub
The heart
Bathed in dim light, the small club stage encourages artists to give great concerts. Thanks to first-class technology, the best sound is guaranteed, as is a great atmosphere. The BIX, named one of the world's 50 best jazz clubs by Down-Beat magazine in 2012, is the heart of the festival - and the meeting place for experts, night owls and festival guests who can't get enough.
