Jo Ambros Revolution Trio
SO RELEVANT
Jo Ambros (Guitar), Dieter Fischer (Bass), and Johann Polzer (Drums) play revolutionary songs from Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East. They explore the question: “Where does the political song stand in 2025?” and breathe new life into classics like Sag mir, wo die Blumen sind or Blowin’ in the Wind as well as lesser-known pieces like Eh Fi Amal by Fairuz or Strange Fruit by Billie Holiday. Their repertoire reflects timeless themes such as freedom, solidarity, and self-determination – as relevant today as in past centuries.
