Since 2003, the Louisiana Funky Butts Brass Band with six brass players and two drummers has been playing wildly through all genre boundaries. Pumpin', groovin', rockin'. It swings, it rocks, it jazzes, it sparks. They playfully switch between Afrobeats, Latin grooves, French pop, southern rock, Cajun, club sounds and traditional 2nd-line jazz. With humour, bite and passion, the brass band sings and raps in many languages about God and the world, good and bad times, corazón and amour fou.
